Volunteers Desperately Needed

Chesterfield Animal Rescue desperately need more volunteers to help at our remaining events of 2015, can you help save more lives by being one of those volunteers?

Man the Fundraising Stall

We have 2 collection weekends left this year at Pets at Home on the 24th October and 28-29th November and we need all hands on deck to have a great end to the year!

Can you help man the stall and sell our home made goodies at one of these events? Or maybe you’d be great with one of our collection buckets stood at the entrance telling passers by about our good work and collecting donations?

If you can help even for an hour, please use the contact form at the bottom of this page to let us know which weekend you can help at and a rough idea about your availability. Every little helps.

Shake up the Tombola

We are looking for someone to help with the Tombola at the Fun Dog Show in aid of Chesterfield Animal Rescue.

If you can help customers find their prizes and make sure everyone has fun then we need your help. Please use the form below to get in touch and let us know you’d like to volunteer your time and efforts to help us raise much needed funds at our last dog show of the year.

Bake up a Storm

If you can’t make it to any of the events then why not cook up some treats for our favourite cuddly companions, home made dog treats always go down a storm. We also like to have some lovely buns for their owners to sell on the stand if you prefer to turn your hand to human treats.

Transport Runs

We are in need of a team of people to help out with transport. Some example of when we may need help are:

  • To and From Events – with fundraising equipment or dogs
  • To and From Homechecks with a memeber of the Team
  • Collection/pickup of new Intakes

We are currently looking for 1 or 2 people to help get a couple of team members and rescue dogs to a sponsored walk event on the 11th November. If you could offer transport or if you’d like to walk one of our rescues again please get in touch and let us know.
